Gridlock'd
The comedy couldn't be blacker as musicians Tim Roth and Tupac Shakur try to kick their heroin habit after their partner-in-grime Thandie Newton overdoses herself into a coma. As if detox wasn't hard enough, the unlikely duo have to come clean with cops and drug dealers alike. The late Shakur showed real acting promise in a caustic satire that takes jabs at race relations, drugs and the welfare state.
