Friends With Kids
Best friends since college but never an item, thirtysomething New Yorkers Jason (Adam Scott) and Julie (Jennifer Westfeldt) definitely want to have children. But having seen what it’s done to their married friends (played by Bridesmaids quartet Maya Rudolph, Chris O’Dowd, Kristen Wiig and Jon Hamm), they decide to have a baby with each other first and look for their perfect partners later. Amazingly, the plan works - until hidden feelings threaten to ruin their beautiful friendship. Westfeldt writes and directs this aspirational comedy with an interesting take on commitment.
