A first-rate cast turn a family wedding into nuptial hell in this banquet of dysfunction from first-time director Sam Levinson (son of Rain Man’s Barry). Ellen Barkin is the neurotic mother-of-the-groom whose anxiety grows ever deeper thanks to her delinquent teenage son (Ezra Miller), ailing father (George Kennedy), judgmental mother (Ellen Burstyn), self-harming daughter (Kate Bosworth), - not to mention her antagonistic ex-husband Paul (Thomas Haden Church) and his bitchy second wife (Demi Moore).
