A Thousand Words
Smooth-talking literary agent Jack McCall (Eddie Murphy) isn't averse to twisting his words in order to land a lucrative book deal. However, when he's negotiating with new-age self-help guru Dr Sinja (Cliff Curtis), he sees through the lies...and curses Jack by magically appearing in his backyard with a tree. For every word Jack spouts a leaf will fall until it - and Jack - dies. Murphy reteams with Norbit director Brian Robbins for a comedy drama with a sting in the tale.
