Guilt-ridden Chinese cop Sergeant Tang Fei (Nicholas Tse) is crippled by memories of a sting then went wrong. While snaring wanted criminal Zhang Yidong, a gunfight and subsequent car crash put the mobster in a coma and crippled a fellow officer. Lost in a fog of pain, Tang Fei must pull himself together and see justice is done when the gangster recovers consciousness...and kidnaps a judge's daughter.
