No, not the nasty horror featuring the devil doll. This offering from Sidney Lumet is an altogether more subtle bonechiller starring Beau Bridges as a new teacher at a Catholic school. He becomes alarmed by a gang of students who seem to be systematically persecuting a fellow teacher. However, their are dark forces at work...particularly on James Mason's paranoid Latin master, who blames his sinister woes on Robert Preston's beloved master.
