The Man from Snowy River
Kirk Douglas headed Down Under to play the dual role of twins brothers. The first is a reclusive mountain man and the second the stubborn father of heroine Sigrid Thornton. As the peak-dwelling toughie, he helps young hero Tom Burlinson get over the sudden death of his dad and sets him on the road to adulthood.
