Crash! Bang! Pow! The inimitable Adam West and Burt Ward transfer the splendidly camp TV show to the big screen. A million miles from The Dark Knight, West's deadpan caped crusader and Ward's boyishly gauche Robin are up against Burgess Meredith's Penguin and fellow-villains The Joker (Cesar Romero), The Riddler (Frank Gorshin) and Lee Meriwether's unfeasibly wasp-waisted Catwoman. The scene where Batman rushes around the end of a pier in a desperate attempt to get rid of a bomb is worth tuning in for alone.
