The Gift (2009)
Shane West plays Max, a computer security expert who is given a mobile phone that does more than speed dial the local pizza parlour. It can predict plane crashes, stock market rises, when slot machines are going to pay, and much more. Unfortunately, it also turns out to be an app for destruction: his own. Edward Burns, Ving Rhames, Martin Sheen and Jonathan Pryce are the various suits on Max's trail in this slick techno-thriller.
