Let's Dance
Musical romance in which Fred Astaire pairs up with Betty Hutton as a former vaudeville team who reunite when she becomes a war widow. Amidst the song-and-dance numbers, the plot revolves around Betty's efforts to keep her young son away from the clutches of her horribly snobby mother-in-law (Lucile Watson). Though Fred had turned 50, the twinkle never fades and the 'Piano Dance' alone proves there was life after Ginger.
