Irreconcilable Differences
Drew Barrymore plays nine-year-old Casey Brodsky, who decides to divorce her career-driven parents and have her nanny Maria Hernandez become her legal guardian, much to the delight of the predatory media. The selfish actions of divorcees Ryan O'Neal and Shelley Long are laid bare in court, with the precocious product of their marriage declaring, "You cannot do with me as you please anymore. We have irreconcilable differences." A young Sharon Stone plays a hot dog seller-come-actress.
