Animals United
When a massive dam and resort complex blocks off the water supply to the African plain the animals - many of them implacable enemies - come together to put things right. An impressive cast ranging from James Corden to Dawn French (and inevitably Stephen Fry) voice a veritable zoo of critters including a plucky meerkat, doleful lion and cocky French cockerel. This simple tale - originally made for a German audience - with its strong environmental themes will appeal to younger children.
