What's it all about? It's about Jude Law updating the iconic role that made Michael Caine's name. Sixties London becomes 21st century New York as chauffeur and ladies' man Alfie juggles the many and varied (and rich and married) women in his life. The original was considered risque for its time but this slick remake polishes away any unpleasantness to leave a smoother finish.
