Aftershock
When the devastating 1976 earthquake strikes the Chinese city of Tangshan, a young mother is forced to make a heartrending decision about which of her two children she will rescue. She opts to save the boy but her daughter - unknown to her - miraculously survives...and is adopted by a couple who emigrate to Canada. Thirty-odd years later, the daughter returns to China and discovers that her mother and brother are still alive. Compelling family drama.
