Alien 3
The third instalment in the peerless horror series saw Lt Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) - cast adrift from her homebound vessel by an alien intruder - crashland on a prison planet. She finds herself sharing the cramped jail with shaven-headed intergalactic scum...and her little friend, who she unwittingly brought with her. Charles Dance's sympathetic doctor is soon eviscerated and Ripley has to make piece with the crimmos if they are to stop the insatiable killing machine. Efficient sequel from director David Fincher, who would go on to acclaim for The Social Network.
