Inspector Gadget
Matthew Broderick stars as the cranked-up hero of this comedy adventure based on the popular TV cartoon. He plays John Brown, an unassuming security guard who dreams of becoming the world's greatest police officer. In a twist of fate, John becomes the ideal candidate for a top secret law enforcement project run by robotics expert Dr. Brenda Bradford (Joely Fisher), who transforms him into a man of many talents and accessories. But despite his vast array of gizmos, 'Inspector Gadget' finds he must also use common sense to crack an especially complicated case. Rupert Everett hits all the right buttons as the villain.
