On a Clear Day You Can See Forever
When Daisy (Barbra Streisand) decides to give up smoking with the help of psychiatrist Chabot (Yves Montand), the hypnotherapy proves that the patient has lived a former life in the 19th Century. During her trips to the past she find herself inhabiting a different personalities - including an orphaned Cockney golddigger - and meets a variety of characters. She even falls in love with one (Jack Nicholson). Streisand is an absolute joy in her multiple roles...and especially convincing in saucy period dress.
