Don't Be Afraid of the Dark
A mentally fragile young girl (Bailee Madison) goes to live with her divorced father (Guy Pearce) in the Rhode Island mansion he's renovating. However, she begins to hear voices and is drawn to a bricked off basement where something appears to be hiding. They could be Gremlins...but they're much, much nastier. Adapted from the 1970s TV film, this efficient old school chiller is written and produced by Mexican horror-meister Guillermo Del Toro.
