Uncommon Valor
It's Rambo with a few more brain cells as army colonel Gene Hackman heads to Laos with a team of Vietnam veterans to search for his missing-in-action son. Solid performances from Hackman and the likes of fellow rescuer Patrick Swayze lend depth to the gung-ho action, and it rumbles along at a fair old clip.
