After graduating from police academy without distinction, keen but green partners Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill must pose as high school students to stop the distribution of a lethally popular new drug. But classroom politics have changed since 2005 and the old jock and geek rules no longer apply. While the 80s TV series made Johnny Depp too cool for school, this irreverent update racks up the lolz with a raucous mix of the surreal, the subversive and the ridiculous.
