Irvine Welsh's Ecstasy
Dissolute Edinburgh clubber Lloyd (Adam Sinclair) - funded by drug smuggling jaunts for a local gangster - lives impurely for the next illegal high. However, when he falls in love with unhappily married Heather (Kristin Kreuk) his is forced to question his pill-popping lifestyle. Based on a mash- up of Irvine Welsh's Ecstasy: Three Tales of Chemical Romance, this occupies a similarly sordid world to Trainspotting with a big beat soundtrack from the likes of Orbital, Tiesto and, er, Coldplay.
