Watching The Detectives
Film geek and video store owner Neil (Cillian Murphy) has always been happy to live life vicariously through his favourite films noir. However, when he meets Violet (Lucy Liu) - a genuine brain-frazzling femme fatale - reality catches up with him and his stable world is turned upside down. Writer-director Paul Soter, part of the comedy troupe Broken Lizard, has crafted an engaging comedy.
