Silent Night, Deadly Night
Controversial horror about a young boy (Robert Brian Wilson) who, after witnessing his parents' brutal murder at the hands of a man clad in a Father Christmas suit at Yuletide, grows up unhappily in a Catholic orphanage and slowly emerges into a Santa-clad spree killer himself. Victims of his "punish-the-naughty" murder marathon include a workplace bully (hanged from Christmas lights), a girl he fancies (stabbed) and a drunken store-keeper (hammered and strangled to death).
