Juan of the Dead
In what is apparently Cuba's first zombie film, charismatic slacker Juan (Alexis Dias de Villegas) figures he can make a quick buck from the undead hordes shambling through Havana. He'll offer to kill the infected beloved members of any family...for a few pesos. However, his dubious racket is complicated by an incompetent sidekick and his desperate need to win the trust of his estranged daughter. Both a gentle satirical ribbing of the Castro regime and an unashamedly lo-fi splatterfest, this wins thanks to game playing and cheeky references to old zombie classics.
