Patton
George C Scott delivers a steely performance as the driven US general who was equally at home fighting his superiors as well as the Germans in the last days of World War II. The film bagged seven Oscars but Scott turned down his award for best actor, stating that competition between actors was unfair and calling it a "meat parade."
