To foil a bomb plot, FBI agent John Travolta uses untested technology to transform his own face into that of terrorist mastermind Nicolas Cage - the man who killed his son. So crazy Cage does the reverse. Confused? You won't be, but the same can't be said for the adversaries' nearest and dearest. The leads (especially Travolta) have tremendous fun while action wizard John Woo executes one explosive set-piece after another to make this one of the most preposterously entertaining thrillers ever. Barking/brilliant.
