National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
After holidays from hell - home and abroad - the Griswold clan opt to stay put for the festive season. Naturally, disaster-prone dad Clark (Chevy Chase) is determined to make it a Christmas to remember. And so it is... for all the wrong reasons. Beverly D'Angelo offers her usual wifely support, while Juliette Lewis plays daughter Audrey and Randy Quaid leads the extended family onslaught as obnoxious Cousin Eddie. John Hughes' script proved to be a fun-packed warm-up for his Yuletide hit Home Alone, which came out the following year.
